HELP FILE

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Click on the sign up link at the top of page to set up your new account. It will walk you through the steps to create your member page.

MEMBER PAGE

All EVH users can set up their MEMBER’S PAGE. You can display pics, tell others about yourself in the MEMBER INFORMATION section and via the PERSONAL MESSAGE.

TOOL BAR

At the very top of the page you’ll have access to your page   , personal ad  , photos  , simply by clicking on the appropriate icon.

PREVIEW 

Want to see how other’s will view your page? Click on preview page in the upper left corner to have your handiwork displayed.

FRIEND REQUEST

You can add other users to your friend’s list by going to their page and sending them a FRIEND REQUEST once they respond yes; they are added to your page.

FAVORITES

You also have the option of saving your preferred member pages in your FAVORITES for easy viewing anytime by going to their page and clicking on add to Favorites.

BLOCKED MEMBERS

Want to avoid communication with someone? Just go to their page and click on BLOCK MEMBER. They will be added to your blocked list and unable to contact you.

CHANGE YOUR INFORMATION

You can change or edit the information in all these area by clicking on the edit icon  , in the upper right corner of each section.

FAVORITE HAITIAN BANDS

 Select your favorite bands from the list to express your musical tastes.

FAVORITE HAITIAN FOODS

Select your preferred dishes to share your tastes with others.

GROUPS

Join as many groups as you’d like to communicate with members that have a common interest, by selecting from the drop down list.

COMMENTS

This is where members can send a shout out or post a message. Click on any user’s pic and you’ll access their page. Unhappy about a post? You can always delete any comments on your page, by clicking on delete in the right corner. Remember, anyone that goes to your page may read these comments.

 UPLOADING PICS 

Click on the photo icon on your toolbar. A pop-up window will open up, to permit you to browse for the pics you want to display. Once you’ve located the desired pic open it, then click upload picture to EVH. Once you’re done click close at the bottom of picture.
 
PAGE HITS

This counter in the upper right corner of your page tabulates how many times your page has been viewed.

 
PERSONALS


EDIT MY PERSONAL AD 

Click on the edit icon, in the upper left corner. This will take you to your personal ad editor, which will enable you to change, delete, or add information to your ad.

MY MATCHES 

 Click on my matches at top of page to see matches based on the preferences you selected when you created your personal ad.
 
MY FAVORITES 

Click on the favorite’s icon at the top of your personal ad to view/manage a list of your favorite ads. Add members to favorites by going to their page and clicking on add to favorites.

MY BLOCKED MEMBERS 

Click on the blocked members’ icon to view/manage the list of blocked members.

MESSAGE CENTER 

Click on the message icon in the tool bar to access the message center. You may view or send messages from here and add users to your address book.

How do I search the personal ads?

Click on personals in the tool bar, then click on browse or search ads. The next screen will ask you to make selections to modify your search. Enter your preferences and click update search at the bottom of the grouping.

How do I place a personal ad?

Go to the personals page and click on the place ad icon, this opens up the personal ad editor that will walk you through the steps to list information about you and to select the attributes that you are looking for in a match.

 How do I know who is currently online?

Click on members on top of the page to display a listing of all EVH users presently online.
